During her Industrial Design studies in Munich, Katharina started researching on plastic waste and recycling in Kenya. Since then she has been involved in the Flipflopi project as well as Precious Plastic - exploring machines and techniques to turn wasted plastic into something valuable and inspiring and facilitating people to make positive change.
