Nadja Buttendorfs artistic work is an interplay between pop culture and narratives of technological history. Her videos, performances, installations and online interventions discuss social questions about the human body and the often reproduced gender stereotypes. In current works Buttendorf examines the history of computer development in GDR and reflects the situation of woman in technology.
