She is the founder of “In the Loop-premium curated walks”, a modern digital guide for independent travelers who want to engage with each place's unique story in a human-centric way. She is also the head of “Octopus Garden”, an initiative led by a group of Berlin’s well-known cultural and creative scene leaders that aims to promote and support cultural exchange between Thessaloniki and Berlin.
Tania gets inspired and motivated by music, theater, dancing, traveling, meeting people. She is a founding member of Playback Theatre Thessaloniki and also a DJ, sharing the music she discovers in bars, festivals, events. For the past few years, she has been exploring the mingling of groovy sounds and traditional rhythms of Africa, the African Diaspora and beyond, while always being attracted by unique psychedelic sounds based on heavy basslines, distinctive percussions and synth-led tunes. Her DJ sets synthesize elements of afro, jazz, disco and synth-pop, blended together to spread positive energy and create an irresistible urge to dance.
Having participated in Republica 2017 as a speaker in the context of re:connecting Europe, she is excited to re:discover Republica this year from another point of view. See you on the dancefloor!
