Sam Hinds Garcia is an author, director, and creative strategist. She directs creative engagement strategy for Data & Society, an independent research institute in New York that studies the social implications of data and automation. Sam works closely with subject experts to envision and cultivate resonant stories, products, and experiences from their research insights. She directs all digital and print editorial and creative content for Data & Society, and leads long-term engagement projects with practitioners in media, technology, and the arts.
