At the Fishbowl Discussion "Fashion, Tech & Sustainability" of future fashion forward e.V., visitors can discuss circular value chains, materials of the future and the promotion of interdisciplinary young talent in a globalizing world. Music, fashion and science are combined in the presentation followed by Q&A by designer Layla de Mue's "The Syma Line" - a fashion tech collection. Wearables of the future, a pattern app and what research in fashion tech looks like in concrete terms you will learn in the afternoon with fashion researcher Tomya Mateo & Nora Baum from pattarina.
On Tuesday, urban space experts from politics and civil society will discuss the traffic turn from below and above. Our two panels on mobility of the future will focus on nothing less than shared public space. Whether pedestrians, climate activists, automobile club, the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety or bicycle initiatives - which best practice examples already exist today and with which hurdles do innovative start-ups or civil society initiatives have to struggle? But it is not only urban space that needs to be designed in a participatory way - the Stuttgart Media University is presenting solutions from the research project on smart villages and the mobility of senior* women in rural areas in its opening talk.
On Wednesday, the historic locomotive shed will become a cultural forum with a digital affinity: Katrin Glinka gives an insight into the projects and processes of the major digital project museum4punkt0, in which seven museums are developing VR, AR and other innovative applications to enable visitors* to learn, participate and experience new ways. On the panel "Museum digital - on the way to a bright future" the curators of the Deutsches Technikmuseum (German Museum of Technology Berlin), the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation, the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg and the Johanneum Graz discuss their digital strategies. In his talk "Out of the Museum", Thomas Weibel from Switzerland presents how cultural institutions can gamify their offerings with hackathons.
On May, 7 and 8 the sympsia on the topics "Events re:loaded - Festivalisation" and "Digital Hemp - the Oil of the 21st Century" will also take place at the Deutsches Technikmuseum.
