Plastik ist eins der größten selbst verursachten Probleme der Menschheit. Es ist bereits ein großer Teil unserer Weltmeere und in Form von Mikroplastik auch Teil von uns selbst. Es an der Zeit, Plastik nicht mehr als wertloses Wegwerfprodukt zu begreifen, sondern als wertvolles Material, welches gezielt und bewusst eingesetzt werden sollte. Zirkuläres Design und Recycling sind daher Kernwerte der Precious Plastic Bewegung.

In diesem Workshop wollen wir mit euch gemeinsam einen Ideenfindungsprozess durchlaufen. Welches Plastik-Recycling-Objekt möchte ich für die Welt in 400 Jahren hinterlassen? Mit welchem Objekt kann ich die Welt auf das Plastik-Problem aufmerksam machen? Und welches Objekt ist es überhaupt wert aus Plastik produziert zu werden? Das sind die Fragen für unseren Ideenwettbewerb. Die beste Objektidee wird nach der Republica von uns produziert.

Plastic is one of humanity's biggest self-made problems. It’s already a big part of the oceans and in form of microplastics part of ourselves, too. It is time to no longer see plastic as a trash-object but to give the material a value again, to use it purposeful and consciously. Circular design and recycling are therefore core values of the Precious Plastic movement.

In this workshop we want to run through an ideation process with you. Which plastic object do we want to leave for the future world in 400 years? With which object can we point out the plastic problem? And which object is worthy to be produced out of plastic anyway? These are the questions of our ideation challenge. The best idea will be produced by us!
