Master of European Studies student, however, Katja Sinko has increasingly become a full-time European activist. She is an active member of the Junge Europäische Bewegung Berlin-Brandenburg (JEB). Since December 2016 she has been leading the pro-European campaign THE EUROPEAN MOMENT, which among other things organized the March For Europe and initiated the e-petition "Bundestag #MachsEuropäisch". She has been a member of the European Commission's TEAM EUROPE speaker service since 2017. In June, Federal Minister Dr. Franziska Giffey appointed the 28-year-old as "Engagement Botschafterin 2018 Zivilgesellschaft in Europa". Currently, she is coordinating the "One Europe for All" mass demonstration on 19 May 2019. On 1 May 2019, she and other European activists will announce the #EuropeanMay.
