Dan Maag, Produzent und Geschäftsführer der PANTALEON Films GmbH, ist seit 1998 im Filmgeschäft tätig und produzierte oder betreute in verschiedenen Funktionen Filme wie Martin Scorseses „Aviator“ oder „Dead Fish“ mit Gary Oldman. Maag wurde 2012 Geschäftsführer der PANTALEON Entertainment GmbH und baute das Unternehmen zur Aktiengesellschaft PANTAFLIX AG um. Seine Spielfilmproduktionen wie „What a Man”, „Schlussmacher“, „Der Geilste Tag” oder „100 Dinge“ gehören zu den erfolgreichsten deutschen Filmen der letzten Jahre. Maag produzierte auch „You Are Wanted”, die erste deutsche Amazon Original-Serie. Diese wurde in über 200 Ländern erfolgreich ausgestrahlt und ging 2018 in eine zweite Staffel. Maag ist der Gründer von PANTAFLIX, einer globalen Video-on-Demand-Plattform, die mit ihrer Infrastruktur für Filmemacher*innen neue Möglichkeiten schafft, ihre Filme direkt weltweit zu vertreiben.

Dan Maag, producer and managing director of PANTALEON Films GmbH, has been active in the film industry since 1998. He was in charge of a variety of productions in different capacities, among others Martin Scorsese’s “Aviator“ or “Dead Fish“ starring Gary Oldman. In 2012 he became managing director of PANTALEON Entertainment GmbH and spearheaded the company’s transformation into a stock corporation. His productions such as “The Manny”, “Joys of Fatherhood“, “The Most Beautiful Day” or “100 Things” rank among the most successful German releases of the recent past.. In addition, Maag produced “You are Wanted”, the first original Amazon series in Germany for Amazon Prime Video. The show has been streaming successfully in over 200 territories around the world and has been renewed for a second season. Maag is the founder of PANTAFLIX, a video-on-demand platform that provides a global infrastructure to distribute and stream the best entertainment all over the world.
