Tim Büthe is Professor and Chair for International Relations at the Hochschule für Politik/School of Governance and School of Management at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), as well as a Senior Fellow for Rethinking Regulation at the Kenan Institute for Ethics. His research focuses on the politics of international economic relations and the governance of global markets. In recent years, much of his work has focused on the drivers of the global spread of competition law and policy, as well as the consequences for innovation and more generally economic opportunity. His work has been published in leading journals in political science and public policy, as well as interdisciplinary journals such as Regulation & Governance and Law & Contemporary Problems
