This meet-up will be a space to connect and reflect on re:publica talks that are of relevance to the cultural dimensions of tech and social innovation as it applies to indigenous cultures. How can we bridge the hacker movement to indigenous communities? How are indigenous communities approproating technology? What are the implications of indigenous innovation and how do they want to participate in the global discourse? How do indigenous cultures appropriate technology, and how can the hacker/maker movement interact productively?
