re:cruiting

For the first time there will be a re:cruiting area at #rp19 where we will offer various formats to connect potential employers and applicants.

Understanding the background
Our world of work is undergoing radical change. Digitization as well as demographic changes, migration and automation: The way we work, the places we work and the amount of work we do are changing fundamentally. This all poses new demands on personal responsibility, motivation and work quality. Employers* are increasingly looking for skilled workers, and yet it is becoming more and more difficult for them to recruit qualified employees. The requirements have not only changed for the jobs themselves, but also regarding the adequate addressing of potential employees. The possibilities to engage in dialogue have become much more diverse.

And that is exactly where we come in by bringing exciting companies and interested applicants together. Because they're all here: our smart, resilient and digitally experienced attendees.

The re:cruiting area programme

Matchmaking and Speed Meetings
We will hold several "speed meetings" between potential employers and interested visitors every day. The attendees have the opportunity to get to know a number of different companies - and five minutes to talk to the respective interviewer.

Registration:
If you already know the exact time of your visit and which companies interest you, please register here:

Monday, 6 May 12.00pm - 1.00pm
Monday, 6 May 1.15pm - 2.15pm
Monday, 6 May 2.30pm - 3.30pm

Tuesday, 7 May 12.00pm - 1.00pm
Tuesday, 7 May 1.15pm - 2.15pm
Tuesday, 7 May 2.30pm - 3.30pm

Open Calls - company presentations
Employers will be able to introduce themselves and their company as well as their vacancies in the so-called "Open Calls", which take place before the speed meetings, as a means of getting the participants excited about their work.

Analogue application options on site: Our re:cruiting letterboxes
In addition to personal interviews and face-to-face contact, every company will have its own mailbox set up in the re:cruiting area. Interested visitors who either didn't get the chance to engage in a conversation or couldn't set it up in time have the opportunity to introduce themselves and provide their contact details to the desired company via specially designed postcards.

Video application booth
Interested attendees may leave a video message to the company of their choice in our "video application booth" provided by our cooperation partner JobUFO. This way potential employers can obtain a personal impression directly and are able to contact you if you match their interest.

Keynote speeches and Talks
There will be exciting speakers on all three days to give keynote speeches and Talks on the topic re:work, the future of work. How are working hours organised? Why does less and less of the actual work take place in traditional offices? New structures, rules and control processes are finding their way into companies.

In a nutshell: Everyone is talking about New Work, but what is really behind it? Do we need a new work paradigm, both social and human? What does an authentic and more meaningful economy and togetherness look like in tomorrow's working world? Where do opportunities and challenges lie?

And, of course, the topic of "recruiting" will be an important theme. Rapid technological leaps, constantly changing expectations of the world of work and agile corporate structures have blurred the previously clearly defined job requirements. What does a career look like today? What can we expect from an employer and what should be implemented in order to attract the desired talents in the future? We will take a look at the possibilities of approaching candidates and show what possibilities already exist today.
